George Edison

George Edison is a Master’s student at the School for Environment and Sustainability pursuing a degree in Environmental Policy and Planning. He studies the integration of groundwater management in existing and emergent transboundary cooperation agreements. George's research applies theories of cooperative governance formation to hydrologic modeling, focusing on aquifer management between Mexico and the U.S. After earning a B.A. in environmental studies from Vassar College, he spent several years in the nonprofit sector, primarily working in urban community gardens. Outside of school, George enjoys playing soccer, gardening, and playing the saxophone.
