Dr. Gary Tabor
Gary Tabor is the Founder and President of the Center for Large Landscape Conservation and brings an extensive wealth of experience spanning over 40 years in large-scale conservation efforts across various continents such as Africa, South America, Australia, and Canada.
Currently, Gary holds the position of Chair within the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas' Connectivity Conservation Specialist Group. In this role he leads a collaborative effort that unites 1300 conservation scientists and practitioners from 135 nations. The primary objective is to advance the science, policy, and practice of ecological connectivity conservation across terrestrial, freshwater aquatic, and marine ecosystems.
