Mr. Cliff McCreedy
Cliff McCreedy brings to the Advisory Board his experience orchestrating interdisciplinary teams to evaluate watershed conditions and assess climate change vulnerabilities within land and water resources across Great Lakes and coastal parks. His current position as the Science and Stewardship Coordinator at the National Park Service places him as the Federal Liaison to the US Biosphere Network (USBN), an amalgamation of 28 internationally acclaimed biosphere regions spanning the continental United States, Puerto Rico, Alaska, and Hawai'i. Notably. This network encompasses several transboundary sites with Canada and Mexico. Cliff also serves as an Agency Liaison with the GCTW Advisory Board for the National Parks Service.
Cliff’s professional journey spans diverse landscapes, encompassing roles in both public and private sectors. Notably, his tenure at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency earned him the Silver Medal for Superior Service, recognizing his efforts in integrating environmental policy into the Farm Bill. Throughout his career, Cliff has been instrumental in applying his expertise in policy formulation, effective communication, and adept coordination to fortify the bonds between communities and stakeholders, empowering them to navigate and respond to swift environmental transformations while nurturing their natural and cultural heritage.
