Dr. Carolyn Johns
Dr. Carolyn Johns is a professor in TMU’s Department of Politics and Public Administration and serves as a principal Canadian investigator leading the Climate Ready Communities and Transboundary Governance (CRTG) cluster and team. Dr. Johns has led several Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) projects focused on improving transboundary water governance in the Great Lakes region, water policy, intergovernmental relations, policy networks, and policy implementation challenges. She is also Chair of the Bruce Fellowships in Freshwater Policy, a member of the International Joint Commission (IJC) Water Quality Board, and research partner on a coastal and shoreline resilience project led by Conservation Ontario and funded by Natural Resources Canada.
