Dr. Aaron T. Wolf

Aaron Wolf brings to the Advisory Board decades of experience in issues surrounding transboundary water resources and their relation to political conflict and cooperation. He is a distinguished professor of geography at Oregon State University’s College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences. His expertise spans environmental science and dispute resolution theory and practice.

Throughout his career, Aaron has lent his expertise as a consultant to international governments, development partners, and the US Government, providing insights into various aspects of water resources and conflict management. As a skilled mediator and facilitator, Aaron serves as Co-Director of the Program in Water Conflict Management and Transformation. Through this initiative, he has conducted workshops, facilitated discussions, and mediated disputes in diverse basins around the globe.
